Employees Take in Relaxing Beach Vibes for RUHS Week
Music, food, drinks, games and laughs shared with friends are some of the elements that help to make the perfect beach day, and that’s just what was delivered to hard-working Riverside University Health System employees last week for RUHS Week, the system’s annual employee appreciation event.
Several RUHS campuses each host their own one-day event to honor employees. The first of the events kicked off for Medical Center employees May 6 in Moreno Valley. Then, employees of RUHS’ desert campuses got their own celebration May 9 at 47-825 Oasis St. in Indio.
At each of the events, employees snapped group photos at a selfie station, perused informational booths and played games such as ring toss and cornhole. House music pumping from nearby sound systems helped to set the mood for a party-like atmosphere.
Each employee received an RUHS-branded stoneware mug and a ticket they could redeem for their choice of an agua fresca or kettle corn from Enzo’s Kettle Corn.
The RUHS Week party continues this week at several more locations. Each event will have its own fun dress up theme. The themes for each location are listed below.
RUHS Public Health & Arlington - 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, located at 4065 County Circle Drive, Riverside. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt.
RUHS Mission Grove - 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, located at 7898 Mission Grove Parkway, Riverside. Guests are encouraged to dress up like a cowgirl or cowboy.
RUHS Behavioral Health - 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, located at 2085 Rustin Ave., Riverside. This event will have a throwback theme, and staff can dress up in clothing from their favorite decade.
