Honoring our RUHS Medical Interpreters

Wednesday, May 1 is National Interpreter Appreciation Day! RUHS Language and Cultural Services would like to recognize the outstanding dedication of 19 professional medical interpreters. They are instrumental in our healthcare mission, breaking down communication barriers so that  patients can make informed decisions about their health.

Over the past year, our RUHS in-person interpreters have facilitated language access services in an impressive 43,161 healthcare encounters and supported 315 translation projects across various healthcare facilities including the Medical Center, Medical Surgical Center, Arlington Campus, Moreno Valley CHC, and Corona CHC.

Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to providing equitable quality communication for our patients and providers.
