Cafeteria Hosts Costume Contest

If Beetlejuice ever needed insurance, Flo from Progressive could have helped him last Thursday at the RUHS-MC Cafeteria Dining Room.

Roughly 40 people from all over the Medical Center participated in the 2nd annual Food and Nutrition Services Halloween Costume Contest at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

A panel of four judges crowned four winners. Each of the winners was able to order a 10-inch cake from one of the cafeteria vendors as a prize.

The contest winners — who literally took the cake — were:

  • 1st Place: Dan Barnett – MSC Occupational Therapy (Beetlejuice)

  • 2nd Place: Chun W. Li – Anesthesiology (Inmate)

  • 3rd Place: Blanca Saucedo – Geriatric  (Hocus Pocus)

  • 4th Place: Jamie Barela – Women’s Health Clinic (Flo)

 Congratulations to all the winners!
