Photos: Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Opening of Family Garden

RUHS Foundation board members, doctors, dignitaries and members of the public celebrated the opening of a peaceful new green space Thursday, June 20, along the Wellness Walkway at the Medical Center: The Donna and Harley Knox Family Garden.

Named in honor of board member Donna Knox and her late husband, Harley, the garden boasts a wide array of colorful succulents and is one of multiple green spaces that will adorn the Wellness Walkway once it is fully complete.

Knox was honored and presented with awards from multiple speakers Thursday. The list of speakers included Jamil Dada, RUHS Foundation Board Chair; Moreno Valley City Councilwoman Cheylynda Barnard; and Dr. Alexandra Clark, the RUHS - MC Chief Medical Officer.
