American Public Health Association Luncheon

Today, we attended the American Public Health Association (#APHA) awards luncheon in Minneapolis to celebrate our very own Director of Disease Control, Barbara Cole, who received the prestigious Sedgwick Memorial Medal for Distinguished Service in Public Health.

She joins a very short list of women who have received this award since 1929 and was one of only 13 other individuals and organizations who received awards for their excellence in public health leadership and innovation this year. Congratulations Barbara!
