RUHS Launches Partnership with Live Like Jojo Foundation

This week, RUHS Medical Center proudly launched its partnership with the Live Like Jojo Foundation. The launch event was held April 9 in the RUHS Foundation Family Waiting Room, where guests were welcomed with live acoustic guitar music and refreshments.

Monica Cline, founder of the Live Like Jojo Foundation, shared a heartfelt story about her son Jordan’s battle with mitochondrial deletion syndrome. Many guests were deeply moved by her words, with some visibly touched by the power of Jordan’s story. His family's journey continues to inspire the foundation’s mission to provide support and comfort to children facing similar challenges.

As part of this new partnership, the Jojo Foundation donated 50 sunshine boxes and blankets to help provide comfort, joy, and support for children facing chronic health challenges and their families.

RUHS also promises to embrace Jojo’s Rule— a commitment to ensuring that each child nearing end-of-life treatment is paired with the same nurse for the remainder of their journey. A huge thank you to Lori Lopez, Sonia Gallegos, and Lindsay Kanning for facilitating as ambassadors for this event.
