Perfectly Pink: Team RUHS Dresses for Breast Cancer Awareness

RUHS – Medical Center providers and nurses wore their finest pink ensembles Thursday, Oct. 24, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Observed annually in October, Breast Cancer Awareness month seeks to increase education, funding and screening for breast cancer, which is one of the leading causes of cancer death for women. More than 42,000 women in the U.S. are expected to die from this form of cancer in 2024, according to the American Cancer Society.

At RUHS-MC, employees showed their strong support for the month by wearing pink scrubs, pink ties, pink ribbons and pink RUHS T-shirts. Thank you to all our RUHS employees who dressed up!
