Dr. Michael Mesisca Awarded Vituity's 2022 Distinguished Service Award

Congratulations to Dr. Mike Mesisca, who was awarded Vituity's 2022 Distinguished Service Award!

Dr. Mesisca is the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Riverside University Health System - Medical Center as well as the Medical Director for the Riverside County Emergency Disaster Program. He also oversees the County's Correctional Health Services. Early in the pandemic, 195 U.S. citizens were evacuated from Wuhan, China, to March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, California and entered the first federally mandated quarantine in over 50 years. Dr. Mesisca led the establishment of a 24-hour medical and behavioral health care unit for the evacuees — all with less than a day's notice.
