BOS Recognizes October As National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The County of Riverside Board of Supervisors recently recognized October as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to spread awareness about the reality of domestic violence and support survivors.  RUHS leadership and staff were present at the Board of Supervisors meeting Oct. 17 to accept the proclamation.

As we recognize National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we highlight the RUHS "Sexual Assault Forensic Exam" (SAFE) Clinic.  The SAFE Clinic is in a private, safe setting with a multidisciplinary staff that is dedicated to help the residents of the County of Riverside 24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week by working with advocacy, law enforcement, the crime lab and the district attorney office to bring justice to our community.
