Denim Day

The Foundation invites staff to participate in Denim Day at the Medical Center campus from 1 – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. People are encouraged to wear denim to combat victim blaming and educate others about sexual violence during this day of awareness and action. During the same event, participants can sponsor a pinwheel to be planted in the stairwell planters adjacent to the Marion and Mary Ashley Education and Conference Center. This gesture honors children who have experienced abuse and neglect and symbolizes our commitment to their protection and well-being. More information here
