Suicide Loss Peer Support Group Facilitator Training

The Riverside County Suicide Prevention Coalition partnered with AFSP on January 11th and 12th to host Suicide Loss Peer Support Group Facilitator training. This two-day in-person training was for survivors of suicide loss, mental health professionals, and others interested in learning the fundamentals of creating and facilitating support groups for survivors of suicide loss. Twenty-three individuals stepped up and got trained to help support others who may have lost a loved one to suicide. We are grateful to these compassionate and dedicated community members for helping us build this critically needed resource in our county!
