Dare to Be Aware Youth Conference

This year’s Dare to Be Aware Youth Conference celebrated 21 years of inspiring students to break the stigma around mental health and embrace self-expression!

With the theme “Express Yourself,” 8th–12th graders participated in five creative workshops—art, music, journaling, emotional intelligence, and film—each designed to promote mental wellness.

Our keynote speaker, Brittany Richmond, delivered an impactful message, and we partnered with Operation Safehouse for a powerful youth panel featuring Peer Support Specialists who shared their recovery journeys.

Together, we continue to empower students to speak up, seek help, and support one another.
